Church-Wide Events

Manna Soup Kitchen
St. Mark's helps prepare, serve and clean up at the soup kitchen the first Friday of every month. Upcoming dates are:

  • Friday, May 4
  • Friday, June 1
  • Friday, July 6
The time committment is from 9:30 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m. or you can work a two-hour shift. If you're interested, please call (247-1129), e-mail the church office or just sign up on the Communications Center bulletin board!

Music

Marilyn Garst Recital
Sunday, April 15, 2007 • 3:00 p.m.
The final recital in the 2006-2007 Recital Series will feature Durango harpsichordist Marilyn Garst. See the Music and Arts page for more information about ticketing and the St. Mark's Recital Series.

St. Mark's Children's Choir
Children's Choir meets on Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. Please contact Scott at 247-1129 or e-mail him for further information.

St. Mark's Choir
St. Mark's Choir meets September through May and sings for 10:15 worship about three times a month. Choose one or both rehearsal times: Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. or Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. No audition necessary. Reading music is helpful, but not required. Please call Scott at 247-1129 or e-mail him for further information.

Kids & Youth

Childcare
St. Mark's offers childcare (in the nursery located in the lower level of the Parish Hall) during the 8:00 and 10:15 services Sunday morning. For more information, please call (247-1129) or e-mail the church office.

Godly Play
Children come forward during the 10:15 service, are escorted to Godly Play, and return in time for Communion. If you would like to be involved with the Children's program, please call (247-1129) or e-mail the church office.

St. Mark's Youth Group
May 18 and 19, Canyonlands National Park
Youth group camping event. Call Bob Prentice at 247-5291 for more information.
